Kayaba Launches New Global Image

After 70 years in business, Kayaba, the world's largest supplier
of shock absorbers to vehicle manufacturers, is strengthening its
position as a global manufacturer with a refocused company management
vision and direction for the future.
The new company philosophy is designed to help Kayaba achieve its
goals with renewed speed and enthusiasm, and draws on the principles
of Monozukuri, the Japanese for manufacturing expertise.
The new direction will be expressed with the new global name of
'KYB', and to reflect the image of a modern, growing and innovative
company, there is a new look logo. A new strap line - 'Our Precision,
Your Advantage' - is also being adopted to express the world class
quality of the business and its branded products.
From January 2006, all Kayaba branches will be known as KYB, and
as an example, Kayaba Europe GmbH will change its name to KYB Europe
GmbH.
