KYB Shifts Up A Gear With 2006 Shock Absorber Catalogue
|
January, 2006 |
KYB has launched its new catalogue for 2006 - a complete guide
to all KYB branded shock absorbers, protection kits and suspension
mounting kits.
The glossy, 416 page catalogue contains a full description of each
of KYB's current shock absorbers, together with listings of all
new additions. It includes applications for cars, car derived vans
(CDVs) and light commercial vehicles (LCVs) from 74 manufacturers,
all listed alphabetically, making it one of the most comprehensive
and user friendly suspension component catalogues in the aftermarket.
There are over 200 new vehicle applications for 2006 including the
Audi A3 Sportback, BMW X5, Toyota Lexus RX300, and the Citroën C1,
Peugeot 107 and Toyota Aygo trio.
The catalogue features KYB's Premium and Excel G shock absorbers
- as well as cartridges for high quality economic repair - and struts
for straightforward replacement. It also gives information about
the Gas-A-Just mono-tube shock absorber, a self adjusting gas unit
which uses special all-weather hydraulic fluid and pressurised nitrogen
gas, and is ideal for performance vehicles needing up-rated suspension.
An informative introduction to the catalogue explains the functions
and safety aspects of shock absorbers, and includes a 'quick check'
list of questions designed to determine when replacement shock absorbers
are needed. The catalogue also features technical guidelines for
the correct disposal of worn shocks.
