Ski-Doo Rider Soars To Victory With KYB

February, 2006 |
Best known for its shock absorbers for cars and front forks for
motorbikes, KYB also supplies more unusual vehicles, including the
Ski-Doo MX Zx snowmobile.
The high level of performance offered by KYB shocks was demonstrated
recently, when snowmobile rider Blair Morgan rode a Ski-Doo fitted
with KYB shocks to win a record fifth SnoCross Gold Medal, at the
2006 Winter X-Games in Colorado, USA.
Riders soar more than 30 feet in the air during this punishing event
- the world's biggest snowmobile race - and KYB shocks performed
faultlessly even under such extreme conditions and minus degree
temperatures.
Hajime Sato, Managing Director of KYB Europe, said: "The same world
class engineering behind our shock absorbers for standard road going
vehicles is also used by those who want to take to the snow, race
circuit or even go off-road!"
